- Has my visa application arrived?

Go to Posten.se and track your registered letter by the ID number. If the status is utlämnad, the application has arrived and will be taken care of within 4 days. The Consulate mail is picked up twice per week. Registered mail takes 3-4 working days between Sweden and other nordic countries.  

- How long will it take to issue my visa?

Allow two weeks for the visa to return. 4 days in the post + 4-6 days at the consulate + 4 days in the post. Not counting weekends.

- When will you send my passport back?

The passport will be sent back 4 days after the application has been picked up at the post office or at the drop-off place in Stockholm. We always use registered mail. For information regarding the ID number of the return letter, please send a request by e-mail. If you prefer to personally pick up your passport in Stockholm, please write your name and "Pick-up Budcentralen" on the return envelope.
